The Santa Clara County Offices of the Public and Alternate Defender represent the indigent accused in criminal and civil proceedings. As part of that representation, for case investigation and case preparation purposes County-owned digital cameras shall be used to photograph and video record crime scenes, case related localities, persons, documents, and physical evidence.
